Rules and Regulations

JUNE 1st, 2017 – AUGUST 31st, 2017

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by MacEwen Petroleum Inc. (“MPI”). MPI is referred to in these Official Rules as the “Sponsor”. The Contest is administered by Envision UP, referred to in these Official Rules as the “Contest Administrator”, acting on behalf of the Sponsor for the purposes of this Contest.

The Contest entry period commences at 12:00:01 am on June 1st, 2017 and ends at 11:59:59 pm on August 31st, 2017 (the “Contest Entry Period”). For the purposes of these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”) all references to times and dates reflect Eastern Time (“ET”).

By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to be legally bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Contest Administrator, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters related to this Contest.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

1.1 The Contest is open only to those who are:
a. residents of Ontario only, and
b. 18 years of age or older; Trip to Las Vegas you must be 21years or older,
1.2 Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contest is not open to:
a. the volunteers, employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor, Contest Administrator, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”), Brooks Marketing Group (“BMR”), the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (“AGCO”), and their parent and affiliate companies where applicable, suppliers, full-time, part-time and student employees, persons directly on payroll, and employees who are on paid or unpaid leave;
b. participating MPI authorized retail franchises, affiliates and C-Store® retail outlets.

2. PRIZING AND ODDS OF WINNING

2.1 There are three categories of prizes available to be won: (a) 10 weekly prizes every week for the entire contest, (b) 3 Monthly prizes (each, a “MID Prize”), and (c) 4 Grand prize (the “Grand Prize”). Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) for all prizes: $21,700.00 CDN.

2.2 The odds of winning a Weekly Prize, Mid Prize or Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable Weekly, Monthly and Grand Prize. Non-winning Weekly Prize entries will accumulate from week to week and will be eligible for all subsequent Weekly Prize Draws.

3. HOW TO ENTER:

3.1 During the Contest Entry Period, purchase any of the following OLG lottery tickets at a participating MacEwen C-Store® and County Line in Ontario, Canada during the Contest Entry Period: (No purchase necessary 3.2) Contest open to Ontario Residents 18 years of age or older with the exception of the Las Vegas Trip, you must be 21years of age or older. To be eligible to enter the contest you can purchase and of the following- LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49,DAILY GRAND,ONTARIO 49,LOTTARIO,POKER LOTTO,NHL® LOTTO,WHEEL OF FORTUNE® LOTTO,MEGADICE LOTTO,DAILY KENO,PICK 2,PICK 3,PICK 4,PRO•LINE,POINT SPREAD,PRO•PICKS (includes PROPS and POOLS) tickets, Rockstar Product, 591ml Pepsi Product, Monster Product, 500ml Coca-Cola product ,Nestle Ice-cream drumstick products, Agropur 473 ml Milk product. Enter at www.150celebrate.com . The tickets/ product listed above must be purchased at a participating MacEwen, C-Store, and/or County Line locations between June 1st, 2017 – August 31st, 2017.

3.2 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Mail-in Alternate Method: To enter without purchasing an Eligible Ticket, you must hand write a full one page letter stating what you enjoy about Canada and what prize draw your letter/ entry is for. 1 hand written letter = 1 entry. Then please hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, and date of birth on a plain piece of paper. Mail your letter in an envelope with proper postage to “150 Celebrate” Contest” MacEwen Petroleum Inc., P.O. Box 100, 18 Adelaide Street, Maxville, ON, Canada, K0C 1T0. Limit of 25 entries per day per person. Mathematical skill-testing question must be correctly answered to win. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received in accordance with these Official Rules. Mail-in entry letters for the Grand Prizes must be received and processed by 11:59:59 pm on August 31st, 2017 (the Contest Entry Period closing date). Mail-in entry letters for Weekly Contest must be entered by 11:59:59 pm of the last day of a respective Weekly Contest Entry Period preceding that week’s Draw date to be eligible for that week’s Draw, as per the chart in 4.2. All entries received after the Contest Entry Period will not be valid.

4. WEEKLY PRIZES AND WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWS:

4.1 There are ten (10) Weekly Prizes are available to be won weekly. Each Weekly Prize consists of a $ 50.00 OLG Gift Card. Total ARV for all Weekly Prizes: (approx. value is $6,500 CDN.)

4.2 Draws for Weekly Prizes will be held weekly, starting on June 5th, 2017, and Every Monday until August 31st, 2017

5. MONTHLY (MID) PRISES AND PRIZE DRAWS:

5.1 There are four (3) Monthly (mid) Prizes available to be won. The first Monthly (Mid) Prize consists of (1) set of Blue Jays Tickets (awarded in the form of 1 set of Blue Jay Tickets). The Second Monthly (Mid) Prize consists of Two Ottawa Senators hockey Tickets (awarded in the form of Two Ottawa Senators Tickets). The third Monthly (Mid) Prize consists of one set of Grey Cup Tickets (awarded in the form of two Grey Cup Tickets).

6. GRAND PRIZE AND GRAND PRIZE DRAW:

6.1 There are four (4) Grand Prizes available to be won. The first Grand Prize consists of one (1) year of free gas (awarded in the form of one (1) $2,500.00 MacEwen Gift Card). The Second Grand Prize consists of one of three “Lottery for a year” which is one Lotto Max, one 649 ticket and one Daily Grand. The Third Grand Prize consists of one Prize (Rockstar Motorcyle) awarded as the Rockstar Motorcycle (approx. Value is $4700.00). The Forth Grand Prize consists of one Trip for 2 to Vegas (approx…Value $2500.00)

6.2 All eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period will be submitted into the Grand Prize draw to be held on or around September 5th, 2017. One (1) winner for each of the Grand Prizes will be selected by random draws. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or is otherwise ineligible, the potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected from nine (9) back-up entries that will be randomly drawn, to be used, in the order they are drawn, and subject to Contest eligibility requirements.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION FOR THE, WEEKLY, MONTHLY AND GRAND PRIZES:

7.1 Attempts will be made to contact each potential winner of a Weekly Prize Monthly prize or a Grand Prize, at the telephone number and or e-mail address provided with his/her registration information.

7.2 To be awarded a Weekly Prize, Monthly or a Grand Prize, the selected potential winner will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid. The Sponsor reserves the right to change or alter the promotion, including, without limitation, administering the skill-testing question, as it deems appropriate.

7.3 If no winner is declared for any prize, that prize will not be awarded. Unclaimed prizes will also not be awarded.

8. PERSONAL INFORMATION:

8.1 Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy http://www.macewen.ca/privacy-policy.

8.2 Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and Contest Administrator’s, and their respective agents’, use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and province for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment, notice or consideration.

9. TERMS OF ACCEPTANCE:

9.1 Weekly Prizes, Monthly and Grand Prizes must be accepted as awarded pursuant to these Rules. Terms and conditions of Gift Cards apply. No prize substitutions, assignment or transfers of prizes permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of comparable value or greater value, without liability.

9.2 In advance of receiving of any Weekly Prize, Monthly and Grand Prize, selected winners agree to execute a declaration confirming contest eligibility, compliance with these Rules and a release releasing and holding harmless the Sponsor, Contest Administrator, OLG, BMR, AGCO, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

10.1 The Released Parties are not responsible for:
a. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest;
b. technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software of any sort whatsoever;
c. unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest;
d. technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries;
e. late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, stolen mail or entries; or
f. any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

10.2 If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.

10.3 The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part (including altering the manner in which the prizes are distributed), at any time, without prior notice for any reason and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. Without limiting the foregoing, the Sponsor may lock out an entrant who, in the Sponsor’s sole judgment, has been disqualified, has questionable eligibility or is otherwise ineligible to enter.

GENERAL RULES:

11. Entries that have been obtained or made through fraudulent means are subject to disqualification. Any person who attempts deliberately to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest or to alter or damage the Contest website may be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties and fines; and the Sponsor and Contest Administrator reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill, as it deems appropriate, based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.

13. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry and otherwise is required to meet all eligibility requirements.

14. Name and residence (town or city and municipality only) of prize winners may be posted, published, or announced on the contest website and the Sponsor’s website, and/or other media for up to twelve (12) months after the selected entrant is confirmed as the winner.

15. In the event of any conflict with any Contest details contained in these Rules and Contest details contained in any form of promotional material or media (Contest Materials), the Rules shall prevail.

16. Draw dates and times are subject to change without notice.

17. All winning entries will be destroyed on or after August 1st, 2019 and non-winning entries will be destroyed on or after August 1st, 2018.

18. This Contest is subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal laws of Canada as applicable.
